Fulfillment Complete! Thank you!
5 days ago – Tue, Oct 13, 2026 at 09:02:08 PM

Hello Awesome Backers:

The last of the packages (all eight of them) will be picked up by USPS tomorrow (10/14). Whew! So, glad that's done. :)  I'm still missing some surveys. If you have lost it, you can use this link to retrieve it.

I'm heading out to Clockwork Alchemy this weekend, so any surveys that come in between now and then will be mailed out next week.

FUTURE KICKSTARTERS AND POSTAGE

I wanted to give everyone the heads up...For many years I have included US postage as part of the reward tiers. Unfortunately, due to the rising cost of postage, I will no longer be able to offer it on future Kickstarters with the exception of digital rewards, of course. :( I'm sure you understand.

WHAT'S NEXT FOR BMS?

Since the Morgana Pendragon campaign is over, though Late Pledges are available, I hope to get back to outlining the next BMS series when I return from Clockwork Alchemy. I will keep you posted.

Once again, thank you so much for your support.

Best, Madeleine

Fulfillment 96% Complete! Update on Preludes and Storms
10 days ago – Thu, Oct 08, 2026 at 01:27:27 PM

Hello Awesome Backers:

To date, over 200 packages have been delivered and more are in "in transit," according to USPS. So, yah for that. Unfortunately, due to a UPS shipping snafu, the additional Preludes (anthology) and Storms (novel) I ordered are delayed again. This make me grumpy as those of you who have backed previous campaigns of mine know I like to get rewards out the door and into your hands. All I can do is wait until they arrive. Hopefully, they will be here before Oct. 14th as I leave for Clockwork Alchemy in San Francisco on the 15th. If they arrive while I'm gone, I will attend to them after I get back on the 19th.

I am missing a few surveys, so if you cannot find your Backerkit link, you can use this:

I also wanted to give a shout out to a few friends who are running campaigns right now.

Fullfillment Update! 89% Complete!
16 days ago – Fri, Oct 02, 2026 at 05:52:10 PM

Hello Awesome Backers:

USPS has picked up over 300 packages which means we are 89% done. You will receive, if you haven't already, an email with the tracking number. Many packages will arrive sometime next week with the exception of non-US backers. (Those always take longer.)

There is one small hiccup...

STORMS AND PRELUDES

Amazon screwed up my order of the anthology (Prelude) and the novel (A Storm of Secrets) which means I temporarily do not have enough for those who ordered them as add ons or if they are in your tier; however, more have been ordered and should arrive next week.  I will get those out as soon as they arrive.

If you haven't filled out your survey, here's the link:

That's it for now.  More soon.

AND, my friend, fellow creator, and Nebula Award winner, Jessica Maison, has a super cute campaign going on...

Monster School Compact Paperback Editions + Metal Bookmark

Nebula winning Mary Shelley's School for Monsters returns with 2 full-color, compact paperbacks with new covers plus a gothic bookmark.

A young Mary Shelley encounters an occult scientist, Dr. M, and a living book of spells, Necro (The Necronomicon), who accidentally split her into two versions of herself: the literary giant who goes on to write Frankenstein and a supernatural girl, Shel, who spends her immortality fighting evil humans who exploit monsters.
